Brisbane Council Climate Change Exhibit
Details:
Brisbane City Council's CitySmart division asked RED-i Design to create an engaging and eye-catching exhibition about the effects of climate change. RED-i Design used all recycled materials to create a series of nine panels where the artwork that was printed on aluminum sheets and affixed to temporary fencing. The typography and collages were painstakingly created from recycled materials from Reverse Garbage such as twine, rubber bands, cardboard, circuit board, plastics and timber. A number of the panels had an interactive component including a chalkboard area and giant scales where visitors were encourage to write on cardboard pieces their ideas about climate change. The exhibit has been used for many Council exhibitions, fairs and libraries and has even appeared in a private firm's reception space.
